Minnesota Bantam Elite League

The Bantam Elite League (BEL) is a hockey league designed to attract and promote the top Bantam-aged players in Minnesota. The purpose of the BEL is to be the premier League for the premier players in Minnesota. The BEL is an invite-only league designed for players who will be first-year Bantams (Minors) and returning for their second year of Bantams (Majors).

Through the organization of our Player Selection Process, we offer the opportunity to compete with and against the top players in each age group. Our league organization and support systems help build an exciting and beneficial game environment.

League coaches are selected by our Board of Directors as credible and passionate individuals who are eager to make a positive impact on the players as well as the overall game environment.

Our Major division season takes place during the month of August, covering 3 weeks of games. Our Minor division season is in August and includes 3 weeks of games. Both divisions feature a multiple-week regular season and playoffs for the top players to showcase their skills for college, junior scouts, and college recruiting services from all over North America. The league will feature scoring leaders, goalie leaders, real-time scoring, and standings on the site.

MAP South Hockey is proud to have taken over ownership starting in 2017 to help support the organizational systems, Player Selection Process and overall player experience in the BEL. MAP South Hockey has a strong tradition of supporting player development through their healthy and competitive culture. Implementing as much of that culture as possible is a significant impact on the BEL and participating players.
